I've been in the Terre Haute area for many years. I graduated from Rose-Hulman Inst. of Technology as a chemist in 1974. While at Rose I met my wife Veronica who was born and raised in Terre Haute. Together we have had 9 children. I got my MD degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and was in the second class as a freshmen at the IU Medical School extension in Terre Haute associated with ISU. I spent the next 9 years in the Army. In the Army I did a 3 year Internal Medicine residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu Hawaii and a 2 year Gastroenterology fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. I came back to Terre Haute in 1988, after my time in the Army, and have been working in the Terre Haute community as a Gastroenterologist ever since. I have been involved in teaching medical students, family practice residents and mid-level providers. It is an honor to teach students and, with the help of Union Hospital, to provide the best possible GI care to the people of the Wabash Valley.
