Union Health announces the appointment of Robin McCallister as Chief Nursing Officer, effective March 1, 2026.

McCallister brings more than 32 years of dedicated service to Union Health. She began her career as a Respiratory Therapist before moving into leadership positions, including System Manager for Respiratory Therapy in 2001, where she oversaw organizational growth, process improvements and technology enhancements.

In 2014, McCallister transitioned into nursing leadership as Director of Nursing Operations. In this role, she has been a strong advocate for nursing staff and a champion of patient‑centered care. Her background across both respiratory therapy and nursing provides her with a broad, collaborative perspective that will shape her leadership as Chief Nursing Officer.

I am honored to serve in this role, grateful for the exceptional team I work alongside, and excited for the impact we will make together,” McCallister said.

With her extensive experience in clinical operations, McCallister is well positioned to guide Union Health’s nursing teams and advance the system’s commitment to nursing excellence.

Healthier, together.
