Union Health is excited to announce that we are implementing a new patient portal as part of the upgrade to our Electronic Health Record. The new patient portal will become operational on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11, which means Wednesday, November 10 will be the last day to use the existing patient portal. We wanted you to know this so that important communications with your health care team aren’t interrupted.
Existing portal users will not automatically transfer over to the new portal site. All established patients, 18 years and older, will need to sign-up for the new portal. Here are the options and information available to make your sign-up easy:
- After November 11, patients will receive a sign-up invitation to register following any provider appointment.
- After November 11, the myunionhealth.org website will activate a link for existing portal patients to self-enroll.
- After November 11, portal sign-up assistance will be made available from our Helpdesk: 812.238.4911.
- After November 11, we will have frequently asked questions (FAQs) available for your review on the myunionhealth.org website.
Once you have signed up to the new patient portal, please remind your friends and family members to sign-up to avoid any delay of care.
The new patient portal will provide Union Health opportunities to enhance your portal experience. In addition to new features that will launch in 2022, you will still be able to communicate directly with your provider, request prescription refills, and review previous lab work and provider visits.
