Interventional Radiology is a specialty area that requires an Interventional Radiologist, a Registered Nurse, and a Radiologic Technologist to perform these procedures. Interventional radiology helps diagnose and treat conditions for the patient. Some of the procedures can be performed in a CAT scan, Ultrasound, or X-ray under image guidance. It uses image guidance to perform minimally invasive procedures.
