Bereavement Support

Despite the medical advances currently known to us, unfortunately, some pregnancies will end in loss. RTS Bereavement Services is a supportive program for families who lose a baby during pregnancy or shortly after birth. A certified bereavement nurse is available to families during their hospital stay and after discharge, if desired. Support is available individually and in a group setting. An annual memorial service, Walk to Remember, is held in October during Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month to honor and pay tribute to these babies.

For further information on this program, contact Kathryn Robinson, RN, RTS Bereavement Services Coordinator at 812.238.4978 or kanderson@union.health.

Healthier, together.
